EPCC anuncia calendario de despensas móviles de alimentos en cinco campus

El Paso Community College has announced a schedule for mobile food pantries operating at five campuses across the city in partnership with El Pasoans Fighting Hunger, according to KVIA.

The Mobile Pantry, formerly called the Grocery Pickup, will operate on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon at rotating locations through November, with one location operating from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The service is available to Texas residents, and EPCC asks attendees to bring their own bags or wagons. Supplies are distributed while quantities last.

The Northwest campus location at Parking Lot A will host the pantry on August 4, September 8, October 13, and November 17. At Mission del Paso campus in the Horseshoe area, distributions are scheduled for August 11, September 15, and October 20.

Valle Verde campus, Parking Lot L, will offer drive-thru service on August 18, September 22, and October 27. Transmountain campus, Parking Lot B, will also operate a drive-thru on August 25, September 29, and November 3. Rio Grande campus, Parking Lot C, rounds out the rotation with dates of September 1, October 6, and November 10.

The November 17 date at Northwest campus runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with all other dates operating during the standard 10 a.m. to noon window.
