Mujer de El Paso marca el fin de su quimioterapia por cáncer ovárico

Suhey Mejias, 33, rang the cancer bell at Hospitals of Providence on Friday, marking the completion of her chemotherapy treatment for ovarian cancer, according to KTSM.

Mejias wore a "Last Day of Chemo" t-shirt during the ceremony. The shirt also featured a teal ribbon, the symbol used to represent ovarian cancer awareness.

The cancer bell ritual is a tradition at many hospitals, allowing patients to mark the end of active cancer treatment and celebrate their progress toward recovery.
