The City of El Paso announced Monday that commercial vehicle toll rates will increase at three international bridges beginning Sept. 1, according to KVIA.

The rate changes apply to the Ysleta-Zaragoza, Stanton-Lerdo, and Paso del Norte bridges. Tolls will be charged per vehicle axle, with pre-paid rates at $4.50 and cash booth rates at $5.

Total toll costs vary by vehicle size. A two-axle vehicle will cost $9 with pre-payment or $10 at the booth. Three-axle vehicles will be charged $13.50 pre-paid or $15 at the booth. Four-axle vehicles will cost $18 pre-paid or $20 at the booth.

Five-axle vehicles will be assessed $22.50 with pre-payment or $25 at the booth. Six-axle vehicles will cost $27 with pre-payment or $30 at the booth.

According to the city, toll revenues support operation and maintenance at the ports of entry. The announcement was made through a city of El Paso Facebook post.
