El Programa de Arte Público de El Paso marca su proyecto 100 con un nuevo mural

The City of El Paso's Public Art Program reached a milestone Wednesday, July 15, with the unveiling of its 100th completed project at Marty Robbins Recreation Center.
The mural, titled "Guardians of the Southwest," was created by local artists Ivan Ortega, Miguel Picos and Julian Vidales, according to KTSM. The artwork marks a decade-spanning effort by the city to integrate public art throughout El Paso neighborhoods and public spaces.
The Public Art Program commissions murals and installations that reflect the region's cultural identity and community values.
