Exhibición de Autos Benéfica para Apoyar las Reparaciones del Techo de San José

The Knights of Columbus is hosting a car show Sunday in El Paso to raise money for roof repairs at St. Joseph's school, according to KVIA. The event will run from 2 to 7 p.m., with food service beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Organizers Al Lujan and Justin Zaborowski said the school building requires roof repairs estimated to cost about $100,000. The fundraiser aims to raise at least $50,000 through the car show and additional donations.

The family-friendly event will feature cars, trucks and motorcycles, along with loteria, prizes and food offerings including enchiladas, pulled pork and pulled pork nachos. Vehicle owners can register their entries for $20 on the day of the event or in advance. The Best in Show winner will receive a $500 grand prize.

At the time of Lujan and Zaborowski's interview with ABC-7, about 15 vehicles were already registered, though organizers said more participants are welcome. All proceeds from the car show will go toward St. Joseph's building fund to cover the needed roof repairs.
