UMC official wins 2026 Texas traffic safety award

Carolyn Williams, interim executive director for the UMC Foundation, has been awarded the 2026 Texas Traffic Safety Award for her work scaling the El Paso Health Car Seat Safety Program into the region's largest child passenger safety initiative, according to KTSM.

The award recognizes Williams's efforts in growing the program, which focuses on ensuring proper installation and use of car seats for children across the El Paso area.
