Salvation Army's Red Kettle Run returns Nov. 7 in El Paso

The Salvation Army's Red Kettle Run will take place November 7 at Braden Aboud Memorial Park, marking the second year of the annual event, according to KVIA.

The run offers two distances: a 1-mile family fun run and walk, and a 5-mile race. Registration is open at salvationarmyelpaso.org.

Chris Stewart said he and his son plan to participate for the second consecutive year. The event aims to establish a November tradition that supports the Salvation Army's mission in El Paso.
