Mesilla Valley Transportation Honors Drivers With Quarterly Appreciation Event

Mesilla Valley Transportation held its third-quarter Driver Appreciation Day on Thursday, Aug. 20, recognizing drivers at terminals in El Paso, Laredo, Hutchins, Tennessee and Ohio, according to KVIA.

The event ran from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. MTV hosts the recognition event every quarter to honor drivers for their safety, performance and work.

One driver received a new car as part of the celebration. The vehicle went to the driver with the best mile-per-gallon average and a perfect Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) score for the quarter.

The event included prizes, food and activities for drivers and their families.
