The Fred & Maria Loya Family YMCA completed a soccer complex renovation funded by a $200,000 donation from the U.S. Soccer Foundation, according to KVIA. The facility opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony July 16.

The new complex features two fields: one with mini nets for children and a full-size field for adults. Anthony Noga, the YMCA's senior sports director, said the facility can accommodate up to 200 children or 20 teams.

Gilda Gil, president of the Loya Family Branch, said the expansion addresses growing demand for youth outdoor programming. The YMCA maintains a "membership for all" policy allowing enrollment regardless of ability to pay.
