La Nube Discovery Center Raises Funds for Expanded STEAM Education

La Nube Discovery Center raised critical funds at its second annual gala to expand access to hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts, and math education in El Paso, according to KVIA.

More than 350 community leaders, donors, and supporters attended the event to invest in the organization's mission. Carla Salazar and Diana White discussed the gala's success and what the support means for the children and families served by La Nube.

The center uses the funds to expand its STEAM education programs, which focus on providing hands-on learning opportunities in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics to underserved communities.
