Karol G, Fort Bliss concerts, bazaar headline Labor Day weekend in El Paso

Colombian reggaeton artist Karol G will perform two shows at Sun Bowl Stadium on Sept. 5 and 6 as part of her Tropicoqueta Tour, a global tour spanning major U.S. and international venues, according to El Paso Matters.

Becky G will serve as the guest performer at both shows. Tickets start at $144. Paid parking (cards only) opens at 10 a.m., merchandise stands at 2 p.m., and general doors open at 5 p.m. at north, south and east gate entrances. VIP check-in begins at 4:15 p.m. at the north gate only. The venue will enforce a clear bag policy strictly, and only reusable plastic water bottles are permitted; metal tumblers are prohibited. Water refill stations will be available throughout the stadium.

St. Anthony's Seminary will hold its annual Labor Day weekend bazaar Sept. 5-7 from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. at 4601 Hastings Drive. The three-day community tradition benefits the formation of Franciscan friars and will feature live music, carnival games, raffles and food including homemade gorditas, enchiladas, elote, churros and aguas frescas. Admission is free.

Fort Bliss will host a free day of live music and family activities at Freedom Crossing Shopping Center on Sept. 5 from 1 to 10 p.m. as part of its Boots.Bands.Bliss series. The event will feature performances by country artists Corey Kent and Don Louis, the 1st Armored Division Band and others, along with inflatables, vendors and a kids zone. The event is open to the public; visitors without installation access must obtain a Fort Bliss Community Access Pass.

El Paso Parks and Recreation will screen "Toy Story 4" at White Spur Park on Sept. 4 at 8 p.m., closing out its free Movies at the Park season. The family-friendly series, presented with Raising Cane's, ZTEX and the El Paso Community Foundation, invites guests to bring lawn chairs, blankets and snacks.
