The El Paso VA will host a veterans resource fair on Saturday, July 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its main facility, 5001 N. Piedras, offering services and activities for military families, according to KVIA.

Veterans can meet with VA representatives to file claims under the PACT Act, which expanded health care coverage for those exposed to burn pits and Agent Orange. Representatives will also present information on VA health care benefits and eligibility.

The event, called Freedom 250 VetFest, will include a veteran resource fair and an arts and humanities fair. A special vintage car show will take place during the same hours. Food trucks and live music from the 1 AD band will be on site.

Families attending will receive free back-to-school supplies for children while supplies last. The VA encourages veterans and their families to attend.
