El Paso County Elections Department tests pollbook equipment for November vote

The El Paso County Elections Department on Wednesday conducted a logic and accuracy test on electronic pollbook equipment scheduled for use in the November elections, according to KVIA.

The test is designed to verify that voter information has been correctly loaded into the system, that key devices are functioning properly, and that ballot styles are correctly assigned to voters, the county said.

Elections officials regularly perform this type of pre-election verification to ensure the equipment operates as intended before voters cast ballots.
