The Amigo Airsho takes flight Saturday and Sunday at Biggs Army Airfield, bringing the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and Air Force F-22 Raptor Demo Team to El Paso skies for the first time in over a decade, according to KVIA.

The Blue Angels have not performed in El Paso for more than 10 years. The airshow also will feature the F/A-18 Hornet jet, made famous by the film "Top Gun." ABC-7 will provide live coverage beginning Friday.

Active military and their dependents receive free general admission with ID at the military check-in lane. Children 12 and under enter free with a Rocky's Boarding Pass ticket available at any Peter Piper Pizza location in El Paso and Las Cruces. General admission tickets start at $40. Every ticket includes a free water bottle and refills.

Ticketholders from last year's cancelled airshow—which was called off due to a government shutdown—can use 2025 tickets if they purchased online and did not request a refund. Those tickets will be updated and sent via email. Tickets dated 2025 will not be accepted at the gate, and promotional or complimentary tickets from 2025 are not valid.

The airshow enforces a clear bag policy. Bags must be no larger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches. Small clutch purses smaller than 6.5 by 4.5 inches are permitted. Allowed items include reusable non-glass water bottles, foldable lawn chairs, umbrellas 45 inches or smaller in diameter, pop-up tents, coolers, and lunch bags. Firearms, explosives, drones, tobacco products, and outside food (except non-glass baby food) are prohibited.

Free parking and shuttle service from parking lots to the airshow grounds are included with admission. General admission holders should enter through the Old Ironside Gate and park in the Blue or Red Lot. Those requiring ADA parking should enter through the MSG Peña Gate and park in the Purple Lot at 11199 Sgt. E. Churchill St. Rideshare users should also use the MSG Peña Gate entrance.

The airshow website recommends bringing sunscreen, sunglasses, hats, and ear plugs for the all-day outdoor event.
